The Passiflora edulis f. flavicarpa, commonly known as Yellow Passion Fruit, is a vigorous tropical climbing vine grown for its aromatic flowers and round yellow fruit filled with sweet-tart edible pulp. Yellow Passionfruit Germination:
1) Using sandpaper, sand the hard shell of the seeds to scarify them.
2) Pour hot water over seeds, letting them soak for 36-48hrs. Change water daily.
3) Use a heated propagator to Keep soil temperature consistent at 80-85F. This is a Must or germination won't happen.
4) Patience is needed as with any Exotic seeds. Germination can occur anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months, but are More than Worth the Wait!
