The Cupressus sempervirens, commonly known as Italian Cypress, is a highly valued evergreen tree prized for its tall, narrow, columnar form and striking architectural presence in the landscape. Italian Cypress Germination:

1) Stratify seeds in a moist (not soggy) sand or peat mix in the refrigerator for 30–45 days.

3) Keep the soil evenly moist and maintain a temperature of 65–75°F. Provide bright, indirect light, as Italian cypress seeds germinate best with light exposure.

4) Expect sprouts in 3–6 weeks, and transplant once several true leaves form.
