Mexican Red Plumeria Temple Tree Seeds (Plumeria rubra)

The Mexican Red Plumeria (Plumeria rubra) is a highly ornamental tropical flowering tree known for its vibrant, eye-catching blooms and intense fragrance. Plumeria Germination:

1. For faster germination and rooting, dilute Vitazyme with warm water at a rate of 1 oz to 19 oz of water, a 5% solution and dip or mist both side of the seed. Allow seeds to dry prior to planting or soaking.
2. For a soaking mixture, dilute Vitazyme with warm water at a rate of about 1.29% or 1 oz to 128 oz (1 gallon).
3. Place your seeds in the container, place on a heated propagator mat between 75-80 degrees. Going warmer can slow, or even stop germination with Plumeria seeds. Allow to soak for approximately 4-6 hours (no more than 12 hours max). Soaking longer than overnight could cause damage to the seeds. 
4. Do not allow your seeds to dry out before you plant them.
5. Use a 50% cactus starting mix, mixed with 30% perlite, and 20% vermiculite. Keep well watered as this mixture will dry fast on a heated propagator mat.
6.  Expect germination to occur between 7- 30 days.

2)     Para una mezcla de remojo, diluya Vitazyme con agua tibia a una tasa de aproximadamente 1,29% o 1 oz a 128 oz (1 galón).

3)     Coloque las semillas en el recipiente, colóquelas sobre una estera de propagación calentada entre 75 y 80 grados. Una temperatura más alta puede retrasar o incluso detener la germinación de las semillas de plumeria. Deje en remojo durante aproximadamente 4 a 6 horas (no más de 12 horas como máximo). Remojar durante más de una noche podría dañar las semillas.

4)     No permita que las semillas se sequen antes de plantarlas.

5)     Use una mezcla inicial de 50 % para cactus, mezclada con 30 % de perlita y 20 % de vermiculita. Manténgala bien regada, ya que esta mezcla se secará rápidamente en una estera de propagación calentada.

6)     Espere que la germinación ocurra entre 7 y 30 días.
