Goumi Berry Tree Seeds (Elaeagnus multiflora)

The Goumi Berry (Elaeagnus multiflora), also known as Cherry Silverberry, is a hardy and highly productive fruiting shrub prized for its bright red edible berries and easy-growing nature. Native to Asia but widely adapted to many climates, this resilient shrub produces small berries with a sweet-tart flavor that can be eaten fresh or used in jams, jellies, and desserts.

In early spring, Goumi produces clusters of fragrant silvery-white flowers that attract pollinators, followed by an abundant crop of red berries in early summer. Its distinctive silvery-green foliage gives the plant strong ornamental appeal even outside of fruiting season.

Goumi is valued not only for its fruit, but also for its toughness and adaptability. It tolerates drought, resists many pests and diseases, and grows well in a wide range of soil conditions. This hardy shrub typically reaches 6–10 feet tall, making it ideal for edible landscapes, home orchards, and hedgerows.
