Dwarf Pomegranate Tree Seeds (Punica granatum “Nana”)

The Dwarf Pomegranate (Punica granatum “Nana”) is a dense, compact ornamental shrub prized for its vibrant flowers and decorative fruit. This dwarf variety produces striking orange-red blossoms at an early age, followed by small, bright red ornamental pomegranates that add seasonal interest to any garden or container display.

Highly valued for its manageable size, this miniature pomegranate typically grows to just 3–4 feet tall, making it ideal for patio containers, small gardens, hedges, and bonsai cultivation. Its long blooming season produces a continuous display of vivid orange and red flowers through summer, followed by decorative fruit in fall.

Although it does produce small edible fruit, the Nana variety is primarily grown for its ornamental beauty and compact form, making it a favorite among container gardeners and indoor plant enthusiasts.

Dwarf Pomegranate Germination:

1) Seeds should be planted in loose seed starting mix, covering with a light 1/2 inch of soil.

2) Keep the soil "moist", Not wet as it will rot the seeds. Using a spray bottle to mist them until moist is optimal.

3) Seeds will germinate at normal room temperature between 30-40 days, but using a heated propagator mat at 80 degrees can cut that time in half.

4) Seeds Must be kept under a Bright Light, or in the direct sunlight until they germinate.
